The Western Ontario Hockey League announced Wednesday that Ryan Viselli of the Tecumseh Chiefs has been named the league's Player of the Month for September.
Ryan's strong month helped his Chiefs to a 4-1-0 record for the month -- good for second place in the WOHL standings.
The Tecumseh native leads his team points (10), assists (6), and power play goals (4) and he is tied for the team lead in goals with four. He is tied for the league lead in power play points (7).
This is Ryan's second full season with the Chiefs. Last year, he was third in team scoring with 55 points (22 goals, 33 assists).
Ryan will be recognized in a pre-game ceremony at an upcoming Chiefs' home game.
