Port Hope Panthers

Franchise relocates to Port Hope

The Ontario Hockey Association has approved a relocation request to move the Colborne Cobras to Port Hope following their fifth season in the Empire B Junior C Hockey League.  They will play out of the Jack Burger recreation complex beginning in the fall of 2009.

The team will be named the Panthers (the name used by previous Junior C teams in Port Hope until 1987) and will wear New York Rangers-style blue, red, and white uniforms.

Please stay tuned for breaking news and information.
