The Midland Flyer's are in the midst of another great season of Jr. C hockey.  Lots of changes and excitement are in store for the great fans of Midland and area.  The Flyer's have many special promo nights, sponsor game nights and ceremonies honoring past and present local athletes.  Some of great giveaways include the Harvey's Hamburger powerplay giveaway.  The Flyers score on they're first powerplay of the game, everyone in attendance receives a free coupon for a Harvey's Hamburger courtesy of Harvey's/Swiss Chalet in Midland.  Other giveaways include Kelsey's Restaurant, Boston Pizza, Dairy Queen and Perfect Pizza.  The team is and will be active in various charities including Big Brothers and Big Sisters, Bunn's Kids, Community Living Huronia and Special Olympics.   The Midland Flyers would like to personally thank all the GBMOHL teams for there very generous donations to "Jeffy Night".  Thank you for making this a very special evening.  Jeff continues to speak of this night as if it happen yesterday.  Some unpcoming nights we have planned during the christmas break include Midland Minor Hockey Night on December 18th, North Simcoe Girls Hockey League night on the 19th.  Meridian Credit Union game night on December 27th and our local Olympic Torch Bearer, Doug Geffros will be bringing the torch to centre ice prior to the start of our game on December 29th.  On behalf of the entire Midland Flyer organization, we wish all of our Jr.C colleagues Happy Holidays and all the best in 2010.  Please check out our web site and reference our calendar of events for our special nights and hope to see you at the rink.
