Walkerton took their momentum from Game 6 and applied it in Game 7.  Walkerton jumped out to a quick 3-0 lead only 2:25 into the game, chasing Gatlin Burt from the net.  It didn't stop there.  After 1 period Hawks were up 5-1. 5-2 after 2. And 8-2 final.
Scoring for the Hawks were Steve Collins, Matt Rostek(2), Adam Alexander, Tanner Shlakat, Rob Brennan, Mitche Allen and Steve Allen.  Scoring for Kincardine were Haden Campbell and Cole McDougall.  Clayton Fritsch stopped 33 shots in 57 minutes, Dan Trombley stopped 2 in 3 minutes.  Gatlin Burt took the loss making 4 saves on 7 shots in 2:25.  Brian Hainsworth stopped 25 in relief.
Game 1 of the Western Jr C Finals goes Friday in Walkerton at 8:30pm.  Game 2 is in Durham on Saturday at 8:30pm.
