Steve Spott - Assistant Coach, Kitchener Rangers OHL

Steve enters his 7th season with the Rangers. Steve was head coach for  Team Ontario U-17 in 1999 & 2000. Was selected OCAA Coach of the Year  in 1994-95 while at Seneca College. Prior to coaching, Steve played 4 years at Colgate U. (NCAA) from 1986-90 and 2 seasons of pro hockey from 1990-92.


Peter DeBoer - Head Coach, Kitchener Rangers OHL

Peter is the Head Coach and General Manager of the Kitchener Rangers. During his 6 years in Kitchener Peter has guided the Rangers to a 197-112-31 record while capturing the 2002 -03 Memorial Cup. Peter was a member of Canada’s Gold Medal winning World Junior team. While in Plymouth Peter won the Mac Leyden Trophy as the OHL’s Coach of the Year in both the 1998-99 and 1999-00 seasons. Peter was also named the CHL Coach of the Year in 1999-00.


Troy Smith - Assistant Coach, Kitchener Rangers OHL

Troy joins the Rangers for his second season with the organization. Troy played 4 years in the OHL as a member of the Plymouth Whalers. Following his junior career Troy played 5 years at St. Francis Xavier where he captured a National Championship during the 2004 season. Troy also played 2 years as a professional.
