Braves Lose on the Road

01/27/08

By Danny Roth

Hagersville provided the opposition for the Braves on Saturday night.  Tavistock came up on the wrong end of the score.

Hagersville scored 3 times in the second period to jump to a 3-0 lead heading into the third.

In the third the Braves tried to mount a comeback when Jon Witzel scored on the power play from Jeff Roes and Marcus Yantzi.  Yantzi then scored with 2 minutes remaining from Kellen Fifield to make it a one goal game.  With the goalie pulled and a power play Tavistock threw all they could at Hagersville’s goalie but were not able to get the puck by him and the final was 3-2 Hawks.
