Michael's outstanding month featured five multi-point games, including a 5-assist performance in an 8-4 victory over London on Janunary 18th. He scored at least one point in all nine games played and heads into the month of February on a 22-game point scoring streak (13 goals, 29 assists) -- the longest in the WOHL to date this season. He has scored at least one point in 33 of 37 games played.

Michael is the only WOHL defenceman to lead his team in scoring and leads all WOHL defencemen in goals, assists and points. He is third in league scoring (the only defenceman in the top 20), tied for first in power play goals and is second in game-winning goals.

Michael's accomplishments this season were recognized with his selection as a participant in the GOJHL Top Prospects game played recently in Stratford.

This is Michael's first season with the Lincolns after spending part of last season with the Saint John Sea Dogs of the QMJHL.

Michael will be recognized in a ceremony prior to the Lincolns' home game on Friday, February 8th vs. the Leamington Flyers. Game time is 7:45pm
